Svobotnik is an Athens-based jazz/experimental ensemble, that orientates towards improvisation on original compositions influenced by the broad spectrum of jazz, from Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter and Ornette Coleman to Bill Frisell, Kenny Wheeler and Marc Ribot, as well as the wide legacy of the blues.
